Defense Strategies Institute’s 2026 Joint Fires Summit will bring together members of the Department of War, Combatant Commands, acquisition authorities, industry, and academia to advance the development and delivery of next-generation surface-to-surface precision fires.  Because the United States has a keen interest in increasing the range, effects, and lethality of its fires capabilities to achieve overmatch against adversaries, the 5^th Annual Joint Fires Summit will focus on the need to continually develop and modernize its fires capabilities to deter and defeat adversarial threats.
